Who we are

HiredIQ is a product of SA Staffing Ltd, operating under The TalentHire Group brand. Our registered address is in England, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@hirediq.co.uk.

What data we collect

We collect the following data:

• Your email address, if you choose to register for free analyses or join our waitlist
• Your marketing consent preference (whether you agreed to receive emails from us)
• Usage data, specifically how many analyses you have run in the current month, stored locally in your browser
• Basic website analytics such as page views and session duration, collected anonymously

What data we do NOT collect or store

We are explicit about this because it matters:

• We do not store your CV or any part of it
• We do not store job descriptions you paste into the tool
• We do not store the analysis results generated for your application
• We do not sell your data to any third party
• We do not use your data to train AI models

Your CV and job description are sent to the AI for analysis and then immediately discarded. Nothing is saved on our servers.

How we use your email address

If you provide your email address and give us consent, we will use it to:

• Send you a welcome email when you sign up
• Notify you when your free analyses are running low
• Send you occasional career tips and product updates
• Contact you about your HiredIQ subscription if you upgrade to Pro

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you.

Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

We process your email address on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you tick the consent checkbox during registration. You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us at hello@hirediq.co.uk.

Third party services

We use the following third party services to operate HiredIQ:

• Anthropic Claude API: processes your CV and job description to generate the analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Mailchimp: stores your email address and manages our email communications. Mailchimp's privacy policy applies to data stored with them.
• Netlify: hosts our website. Netlify may collect basic access logs.

Cookies

HiredIQ uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember how many free analyses you have used and whether you have already registered. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@hirediq.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you are subscribed to our communications. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your email from our systems within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
